Who said chocolate is bad for you? Not when it’s the right kind…. right? So, God provided us a fruit that looks and tastes like chocolate. What the what?!!! Want to know more about carob? click here.
Ingredients
2 large ripe avocados, pitted and peeled
1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
2/3 cup unsweetened carob powder
1/2 TBS vanilla extract – alcohol free (or you can use 1/2 of a vanilla bean)
pinch of salt
2 TBS water or coconut water - add more to thin as needed
ASSORTED FRUITS: strawberries, blueberries, bananas, pears, kiwis, etc. Pick an array of colors!
Directions
In a small food processor bowl or blender cup add avocado, honey, carob, vanilla extract and salt.
Blend ingredients until smooth – you may need to scrape down the sides of the bowl or cup a couple of times with a spatula.
Add water 1 tablespoon at a time to thin as needed. I usually only use 1 tablespoon. But if you are pouring over Nice Cream you can thin it out more.
Transfer Chocolate Dip to a small serving bowl. Serve with assorted fruit plate. Enjoy!
