Sweet Potato Fries
With or without the fat
2 pounds sweet potatoes
2 tsp. avocado oil - (omit if not using fats)
Pinch of Himalayan salt
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Peel and slice the potatoes into “fries.” (You may leave the peel on for extra zinc)
Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Arrange the fries on the tray so none are overlapping.
sprinkle the slices with salt if desired. The salt will stick as long as potatoes are moist.
Place in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping once halfway through. Remove when the edges turn golden and crispy.
Air-fryer instructions and cook on 400 degrees for 15 min. Makes 3 to 4 servings
Serve plain or dip in honey and cinnamon mixture. (my personal fave)
