BBQ Sauce


I have yet to find a BBQ sauce that is compatible with my healing journey. They either have vinegar, citric acid, MSG, or corn syrup in them. But I found one online that I can make myself and after a few tweaks I made the perfect one for me. When it comes to BBQ we all have different preferences so feel free to add or subtract some of the ingredients. I enjoy these on cauliflower florets and call them BBQ “Chicken” Wings.

 

Ingredients

1 lime or lemon, juiced

8-10 pitted dates. you can soften in some got water for a few minutes if they are hard.

7oz organic tomato paste (no preservatives) Here is a good one tomato paste

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp oregano

1 TBSP raw honey

1/4 tsp Himalayan sea salt

Directions

Blend all ingredients in blender or mini processor. Add in water until desired consistency.

Pair with my Homemade fries or my BBQ “chicken” wings.
