Cauliflower ‘Wings’

I used to LOVE BBQ chicken wings and every now and again I want that BBQ flavor so I sub in some cauliflower instead of meat. Meat is not a healing food and when you are healing chronic illness you want as much healing foods that you can possibly get. Here is my version of BBQ wings.

Ingredients

1 head of cauliflower

Homemade BBQ sauce

Directions

Heat oven to 400 degrees F (204 C). Rinse and dry cauliflower. Use a knife to carefully remove the stem and core, and peel away any remaining green leaves.

  • Cut cauliflower into large florets, and then chop into smaller bite-sized florets.

  • transfer into a bowl and spoon your BBQ sauce over the florets and massage into cauliflower.

  • Transfer to a baking sheet (parchment-lined or bare) and spread into an even layer.

  • Bake for 25-40 minutes, tossing at the halfway point to ensure even baking, or until golden brown on the outside and tender on the inside. I prefer pretty browned cauliflower, so I like to cook it longer.

  • Air-fry instructions - 400 degrees for 15 minutes.

  • You are welcome to add more sauce at this point or you can dip them into my ‘Ranch’ sauce.

  • Remove from oven and enjoy

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do. Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
